Among the professional poker players he competed with were Chris Moneymaker, Kathy Liebert, and Todd Brunson.

Ever since Eli Elezra started to play professional poker, he has already been participating in various events conducted by the World Series of Poker. As a matter of fact, this professional poker player has made a number of money finishes already. The events that this professional poker player participates in most of the time are Draw, Texas Hold'em, and Omaha events.

But in 2007, Eli Elezra emerged successful in his participation in the World Championship Seven-Card Stud Hi-Low event of the World Series of Poker. He defeated professional poker player Scotty Nguyen, won US$250,000, and earned a World Series of Poker bracelet. Aside from the cash prize of US$250,000, he also won US$25,000 from a side bet he made with professional poker player Barry Greenstein. Eli Elezra made a bet that he would win in one of the events of the World Series of Poker in 2007 that would earn him a bracelet.

This professional poker player also regularly participates in the television game show "High Stakes Poker."
